1. About SnoopPaws
SnoopPaws (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the SnoopPaws platform at snooppaws.com. We provide an online booking system that connects dog owners (“Guests”) with owners and managers of dog fields, parks, and outdoor spaces (“Hosts”).
SnoopPaws is a technology platform only. We do not own, operate, manage, or inspect any of the locations listed. We are not a party to any agreement between a Guest and a Host. By using SnoopPaws, you agree to these terms.
2. Our Role — Platform Only
SnoopPaws provides the following services:
- A platform for Hosts to list their locations
- A search and discovery tool for Guests
- An online booking and payment system (powered by Stripe)
- Communication tools between Guests and Hosts
We do not provide, manage, or guarantee:
- The quality, safety, suitability, or condition of any listed location
- The accuracy of any listing information provided by a Host
- That a Host will honour a booking
- Any aspect of the experience between Guest and Host
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- SnoopPaws is not liable for any loss of revenue, loss of bookings, loss of profit, or any financial loss suffered by a Host or Guest arising from use of the platform, including platform downtime, technical errors, payment failures, or changes to the platform.
- SnoopPaws is not liable for any injury, death, damage to property, or loss suffered by any person or animal at or in connection with a listed location.
- SnoopPaws is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss arising from your use of our platform.
- Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their location is safe, legally compliant, and appropriately insured. We strongly recommend all Hosts hold valid public liability insurance.
- Where our liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the total fees paid by you to SnoopPaws in the 3 months preceding the claim.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When a Guest books:
- The Guest pays the Host's session price plus a small SnoopPaws platform fee
- The Host receives 100% of their stated session price, paid directly to their Stripe account
- SnoopPaws earns the platform fee paid by the Guest — we take nothing from the Host
SnoopPaws is not responsible for delays in Stripe payouts, Stripe account issues, or any banking delays outside our control.
Booking fees are subject to change at any time without notice. Fees may be adjusted where necessary to ensure they cover Stripe payment processing charges. Any change to booking fees does not affect the Host's session price or payout — Hosts always receive 100% of the rate they set.
Stripe chargeback and dispute fees are the sole responsibility of the Host. In the event that a Guest initiates a payment dispute or chargeback through their bank or card provider, any fees levied by Stripe in connection with that dispute will be deducted from the Host's Stripe account directly by Stripe. SnoopPaws has no control over and accepts no liability for Stripe chargeback or dispute fees.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual Hosts and displayed on their listings. SnoopPaws may facilitate refunds through our platform but is not obligated to issue refunds on behalf of Hosts. Any dispute about a refund is between the Guest and the Host. SnoopPaws platform fees are non-refundable.
6. Host Responsibilities
By listing on SnoopPaws, Hosts agree that:
- They have the right to offer the listed location for bookings
- All listing information is accurate and not misleading
- The location complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- They hold appropriate insurance for their activity
- They accept full responsibility for the safety and condition of their location
- Any income earned is declared appropriately for tax purposes
7. Guest Responsibilities
By booking on SnoopPaws, Guests agree that:
- They are fully responsible for their dogs and their behaviour
- They will follow the location owner's rules
- They will arrive and leave at the booked times
- They will not use the location for any unlawful purpose
- Any damage caused during their visit is their responsibility
8. Accounts and Access
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. SnoopPaws reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms or our Code of Conduct.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on SnoopPaws (excluding user-generated content) is owned by SnoopPaws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission. By uploading photos or content to SnoopPaws, you grant us a licence to display that content on the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SnoopPaws after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We'll notify users of significant changes by email where possible.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
